John, some nice driving there......looks like you have the launch down......get a better set of tires and your 10 sec pass is there.Come out a little harder with better tires and you will get a 10 easy.
I agree, his launch is the only thing holding him back from running a 10.9 maybe even a 10.8x. John, thanks again for the waste gate tool.
Thanks Guys,
I hate to mention this, but I forgot to turn PSM off and lower the rear tire pressure on those runs! Last year, I did all the prep right, but in my haste to get out there that day, I overlooked a couple of things. I will not forget next time out! I did feel a slight bog and I think it was the PSM cutting in - I should have known...I do plan to try some drag radials later his year, as well.
Marty, I have a modified Evo V-Flow that utilizes the Protomotive MAF with the Evo hard intake pipes as an intake. I have ordered the Protomotive intake, however, because I have a slightly uneven idle for a few seconds when coming to a stop - then it settles down. It was more predominant at first and I pretty much eliminated it with smoothing the interior profile of the V-Flow, but a hint of it remains. The venturing effect of the V-Flow does not seem to agree with the Proto MAF. I am going to the Proto intake in hopes of solving the idle problem 100%, as I have asked seveal P700 owners and nobody with the Proto intake seems to have this problem.

Nice runs John,
gets osme better fuel like 109 unleaded... run it up to 1.35 bars... turn traction off and at least buy the BF goodrich drag radials 295/35/18. Ur results will be more to ur liking.
Do one run shortshifting 2nd and 3rd but not 1st...

Mark,
That's the plan. I have AWD, so I have to watch the outside tire diameter closely. It looks as though I would have to go to a 315/30/R18 to match the michelin fronts. These weigh 5 lbs. more per tire than what I have previously run. I wonder how the additional width (315) and added weight vs. the lighter tire will play out. It appears as though this is my only option for a BFG drag radial.
