Problem with the Techart, Europipe, etc... is that they are way overpriced for what they are!! Fabspeed is great value and gains most power if that is the top goal...
You get what you pay for...nuff said...

Rockitman-

Since I am still unsure between 03 Turbo or GT3 i was curious in whether the Europipe that you got had any performance gains? Did you dyno the Rockit?

I don't really mind the resonance too much (but will change soon) however the line on their website is a damn lie and a pathetic business practice IMHO.

"No resonance/vibration - just clean throaty sound"

Let's put it this way...I couldn't imagine GT3 life with out it. I have not verified the 12HP gain...questionable whether one can decern that amount of additional hp anyways...One thing for sure, the car's throttle reponse/get up and go is significantly enhanced...and the sound??? Ooooo La La!!!

Any update on your dyno graph with RPM's instead of MPH?

What about RUF?
I have had mine for 10,000 happy miles. Adds power and NO resonance.
I got the "quiet version" so that I could hear the phone if necessary.

FVD has 3 units for the turbo, 200 cell, 100 cell and no cats. I have the 100 cell version and it sounds pretty stock till you really get on it then it puts out an awesome howl.

Deeroff,

Are you experiencing any resonance?

Also, have you done any other mods?

I have an '02 X50 with EVO Stage 2 mods including intake, chipping and the Quiet-Sport exhaust. There is definitely resonance in my ride but I'm learning to live with it.

RUF exhaust, being a modified OEM is very overpriced!!! Also, it may have been a defective unit but the one Stephen used in the exhaust shhotout was disappointing in terms of HP...
ANyone have the link to that PDF or Power Point of the exhaust test? I searched rennlist but could not find it...

None of you label-conscious guys mentioned the B&B LeMans system. IMHO, the best bang for the buck on the market. Half the price of the next highest system. 30 lb weight saving, good sound, easy installation and fitment, and no resonance. I've had it on for two years and no problems. Some of you well-to-doers don't care about money, but us po' folks here in North Carolina had to spend all our money converting to indoor plumbing. The B&B is a good deal and I'd do it all over again. Flame away.

Is there ANY resonance on your FVD exhaust? I'm thinking of getting one.

Do you have any sound clips?

Thanks.
Here is a video Evan here made with his FVD exhaust (With Cat Bypasses)
