Even if you manage to talk it down to $75k, which won't be easy, its still a very high price. especially because it is either out/nearly out of cpo warranty.
My guess is they'll go down to around $80
My guess is they'll go down to around $80
then that car is not for you.
Its still hard to fine a nice turbo with low miles, and when you
do fine one, most owner(or dealer) what top dollar.
looks like a nice car but is it worth more just because of the miles?
i guess it alll up to the buyer. market will let you know, if the car sits for a couple months then they might lower the asking price. but if the right buyer comes along and wants a low mileage turbo then i'm sure it will be gone.

um , thats what i paid for an 03 with 18,000 miles 2 years ago which had more options..
I would say that car is worth $65k at best.

I agree. I just paid $67.5k for my '03 TT with 30k miles on it.
That price is crazy high.
I've been shopping for an 03 or 04, and tracking prices, for 6 months.
A very clean 03, 15-20k miles should be 65-70 private party.
I see the MY as having around a 5-7k impact on price. (Actually the step up to 04 is more since the 04s are in factory warranty and are rarer.)
I would say low 60s to mid- MAX. A cpo is a pretty limited warranty as well, plus you are stuck with PCNA service. Consider an after market warranty (although I see you are in Norcal, me too- condolences on the warranty choices!)
Here is my method. Know the market, know the options, know what you'll accept and what you wont, option wise. If cars come onto the market high, bid your time... they will drop. Don't think you will 'educate' a seller- they need to figure that out.
Be ready when "the" car needs to be sold by the motivated seller. There will be a lot of false starts, you'll have a lot of feelers out there. Many folks find this too stressful or time consuming- whatever, if you can't wait it will cost more.
I just inked a deal on a 2004 TT X50, bunch of options, nav std, seal grey, 18k miles, one owner, fanatical, never driven in the rain.... the price is shockingly under this car! Right place, right time, right technique.
Hang in there.

Base on you tracking prices knowledge, can you please tell me what's the market value for the 2001 TT with about 15k-20k miles? Because a friend of mine is hunting one so badly.
Thank you in advance.
