Any Info On B&B Exhausts

Does anyone have any input on the B&B exhaust systems for Porsches. I was wondering if there are any problems that anyone has had with them cracking or anything.

For Boxsters too!

Not sure about their Porsche systems, but I know their systems for BMW, Corvette, etc all have some resonance. They tend to be light, well made, and less expensive then others, but the resonance is quite appartent in other makes. Hope this helps.

I have heard the B&B on a Turbo and didn't find it to be appealing to say the least.

This is what I have heard as well. Also, some have complained that the fit on the Turbo is not that great either.

I have a B&B LeMans exhaust on a otherwise stock X50 and a B&B GT exhaust on my Twin Turbo race car.

I enjoy the sounds of both pipes. Regarding power, I haven't had either car on the dyno yet.

I notice an increase in power and both cars spool up faster.

By the way Billy Boat has a very strong background in racing and I wouldn't think he would build pipes that sound bad or that don't make power.

Hope this helps.

Rick

I've had the B&B LeMans system on for two years with no problems. 100 cell cats have held up as well as have all the welds. Fitment was also good. I like the sound and there is no resonance. I also had the B&B GT system and it was awful. Horrible resonance. Sounded like a chain saw at full throttle in a 55 gallon drum.

Had the Le Mans system on my TT for about 2 weeks and the Check engine light reminded of my xmas tree lights...didnt sound all that great either.
What really did it for me was when I called B&B they blew me off saying it wasn't thier fault and there was something else wrong with the car. Just RUDE people to deal with IMO..... But, I havent seen any light since I took that piece of crap off my car
