Hey Kid,

Nice Supra and Gorgeous Garage with the slate roof!!

How is the GT2 treating you?

BTW,
I bought a 2-post commercial lift and need a full 11 feet to take advantage of it.
It is currently laying down (horizontal) at the front of my garage because I need
to get my trusses re-engineered to utilize it.

You can use a different "ceilng hugger" set up on your door that will help some but you may still have to back the top car on to avoid the opener. I have 12 foot ceilings in my shop but don't have a lift yet as I have parking for 4 and 2 more at the house. This is my 3rd shop and they all were designed with 12 foot ceiling for a future lift. Is the rolling jack tray on the 4 post lifts pretty good for tire and brake type work or are the runners still in the way. I think the pan for drips is a nice option to protect the lower car also. I also have heard that the low profile ramps are nice for a lowered car. Good luck.

The first pic in this link shows a 2post lift. Can anyone tell us what brand/model it is? Really would appreciate any help.

I read something recently about 2-post lifts not being rated for earthquakes, and that 4-post lifts are. Is there any truth to this?

Can you use a 2 post to store a car? Is it bad for the suspension or body structure to store it this way?
