Need a new clutch - suggestions?
Thats the stock clutch alright, same one I just had my tech replace. I'm glad I didn't try and tackle it on my own as it was a bit more difficult than my tech expected. In fact, it would probably still be sitting on the garage floor if Kevin from UMW didn't help us out...A big thank you Kevin!! Plus Kevins diverters and the new Bosch plugs, she's really screaming!! BTW..installed the Sachs LWFD...feels great, occational sound of "bolts-in-a-can"..but strong!!
Even my wife didn't notice much of a change in modulation.

I have Kevin's kit....to me, felt BETTER than stock...
Just my opinion. Maybe any new unit would have have given the prior owner... :-)
But, I love the current unit.

I put in the EVO GT2 conversion clutch with OEM flywheel. It is excellent. I do notice a reduction in throttle response due to the heavier OEM FW when heal/toe shifting, but the ease of driving in stop and go traffic is worth it (I think). None the less, very happy with it.
