When i began to read this forum, i had my 996 TT completely stock.
She was quite, confortable, and for what i knew about the Porsche modded world, fast enough.
But i was wrong !
Reading all your posts, a wood-worm has begun to run into my head!
My car could be faster, and how much could be faster ?
It's almost 6 months that i spend all my free time under my beast.
I have done everything with my hands, changing in order:
Short shifter, k24, evo wastegates set at 1.2, evo headers, 5 bar fpr, stock mufflers but with 100 cells cats, 6 pistons front calipers with gt3 cup front rotors, and of course new ECU.
At the end i just want to say to every single member of the board:
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
You are my inspiration, and even if we live so far you are my new friends!
Oh, i was forgetting, my car could be faster, now i know.

Oh yeah, and here it comes my last experiment!
Just two days ago i have received from Fabspeed what i missed to have my straight pipes exhaust.
I have read that it's "insane loud" but i didn't want to believe it.
Well, i must say that is "really insane loud", so loud that i can't use it where i live as we have too many problems with the police controls about emissions and noise.
But i had to test it !
So, at the moment, i'm in stand-by.
All i can say is that i want a loud exhaust, not as the fabspeed straight pipes, with a cracking metallic sound!!!
Ideas ???

i would go back to stock porsche made these cars to be grocery getters not race cars ... whats wrong with you guys???/Opps i have almost 20,000 in mods i must need grocerys fast........
