Need help getting Grattan track video up.

My friend recording the Grattan track video and gave me a Sony DVD-R. When I put it in my computer nothing happens? What do I need to do to get my computer to play this?

the disc needs to be finialized in the camera
is it a mini DVD disc?

Yeah that is what I am finding out. I gave it to my IT department and they said the same thing. They are looking to see if there is anything on the internet they can download to do it. The camcorder is my friends so I don't have it.
