it sort of depends... different tuners have different platforms.. some more some less aggressive... sort run at 1.1 bars sustained and some run 1.2+ bars... either way u will need an exhaust to free up the choking....

you will see from about 450 at the wheels with the k16's, to about 500 at the wheels with the k24's. That's with a flash and exhaust.

Maxwell is that right? 450 at the wheels with an exhaust and a flash for 16s?

Fanman is infamous around these parts
With intake, flash & exhaust you are looking at 500-515 hp (at the crank) which is their stage 2 package. With K24's, you are looking at around 550-560 hp (I have personally seen someone with this setup push out in the 510-520 whp range. Without the exhuast you are probably looking at the 480-490 hp range for K16's & 525 hp range for the K24's.

thats just from my personal experience. My k16 car put down 447whp with the GIAC flash, and the fabspeed loud exhaust. Friends with the same setup, but on an x50 car (k24's) put down 490. These are AWD mustang dyno #'s.

The numbers of course are going to vary, but they're in the right neighborhood.

My guesstimate is you will get 100-120 HP jump with K24/exhuast/flash versus stock
K-16's.

If you flash and exhaust a stock K-16, you will get about 60-70 crank hp jump.

Like Marek says, it depends how much boost (and what octane to support it)you
will be running.

Either way you will notice a signigicant increase in performance.
stock == about 12.0 - 12.2 60mph to 130 mph
k/16 flash/ex == 10.5 - 11.0
K24 flash/ex == 9.5 - 10.0

I also would go with something other than the stock K-24's, they are a little flakey
in their performance characteristics.
Lots of great options.
Good luck

they tend to be a little laggy then fluttery when sustaining high boost.

What's the next option though? Garrett ball bearing turbos? A 16/24 setup is probably the most cost effective way to go.

So many options; you have all seen them listed a hundred times:
The original thread asked about GT2 K-24's (which are standard K24's),
He is a major UMW Devotee so I do not know why he even asked the question
about stock K24's (maybe he owns a pair?)
UMW: K16/24
Proto: K24/18g
S/G: K24/gt28
Evoms: same as above
FVD: K24/K26
etc, etc. etc.
I am not exactly sure what is being asked that hasnt been answered a thousand times??

Good luck, nonetheless
