Dominated by a Ford Festiva????
It seems from the New Jersey SCCA site that
this was the turbo guy's first autocross. What's
the chance he never even walked the course?
Make whatever challenges you want. However,
there's nothing in your post yet that makes you
look special or interesting to any experienced
autocrosser.

You come out and tell me that my car can weigh 1200lbs (btw it weighs in at 1980lbs w/83hp stock junkyard engine) and that I can have no interior or glass in my car!! Talk about EXPERIENCE! Seriously if you knew ANYTHING about SCCA rules you would know that this is NOT true. Now yes in the AutoX results you had posted the Datsun was in a PREPARED class and yes he can do that. This is not what my car is. Oh, just so you know, your ASP Porsche is actually SUPPOSED to be FASTER around an AutoX course than my SM Festiva if you know about PAX multipliers you would also know this (.856 vs. .858). Please reread the rulebook and come talk to me about being an experienced autocrosser and how my correct and factual information is not pertinent nor intriguing to someone who doesn't know! -Kyle

He walked the course more than a few times. I am unaware of the amount of times he has AutoX'd as he was a snob and decided he was too good for me, which as I may add seems to be exactly the reaction I am getting here. I just would like to see someone with as many mods or more come out and show me what it can do.

Kyle, Kyle, Kyle
Don't you get it...grow up mate....
Go and compare your car and your skills with people who are closer to your level of financial means and intelligence (haven't you worked out yet that nobody here is intereted in this dribble).
You're a dipstick!
Yup 911 Turbo's with people that don't know how to drive (so PLEASE learn how to drive so I can rest easy knowing there is more to cars and performance than a FESTIVA) can and will get dominated by my Festiva with 83hp. Think it can't happen? Check it out:

Thank you, Tom I think you are 1 of the only people here that has not snubbed their nose at me. I think I will be departing from the website due to the world-renowned Porsche elitist attitude that I have basically gotten from mostly everyone here. It certainly is a very real stereotype that I can not comprehend for the life of me. To the few that are not I will still remain perusing the topics as they are of much interest to me. I love all cars no matter what they are, how expensive they are, etc. But I will no longer post due to the eye-opening posts. I love the cars but for the most part apparently I hate the people in the driver's seat... -Kyle
Hope this helps.

kyle..re-read your first post dude, it came off as a gloveslap to the face challenge as opposed to a "hi what's up" kinda thing.
this isn't the average import tuner forum where people like us usually hang out (i'm roughly the same age as you so dont think i'm going to go all superior attitude on you here, have owned quite a few imports, and frequent import and race forums probably more than i should, so i think we're on the same page here).
most people on this forum know each other on a first name basis and meet up on weekends at various meets, its almost like a family. a better first post would have been to introduce yourself, post a bit of your race experience (which we would have all enjoyed reading since we're all car guys here), and then talk about the fastiva.
What you did is akin to me walking into a Dallas cowboys pep rally with a 49ers jersey and expecting to get a warm welcome.
if you want to stick around, i dont think anyone will mind, just take it down a notch dude. This isn't RX-7club.com or something where people get into huge arguments and trashtalk each other all day long.
having said that, you have posted some impressive times. what are the specs on your car?

Reread your first post from a porsche owners perspective. Don't take anything to heart. Most here are snobs, but not me

I kid.
Kyle,
More than anything success at AX depends largely on what is between the steering wheel and the drivers seat. I have been lucky enough to watch several nationally placed AXers perform and this has been the case more often than not. AX practice events underline this even more and watching a civic put down better time than a Z06 is always entertaining. Regardless, doing well at an event is always gratifying so congradulations in that regard.
In terms of beating a 911 turbo with a festivia I am frankly not surprised. On a tight course a light small car with very little power is certainly easier to drive than a portly relatively overpowered 911 turbo. I am not saying that you are without talent but under the right circumstances (track, weather) I would give your car the advantage over the turbo.
What I do not understand is why you are disturbed when you go trolling and get the response you were looking for.

Kyle, If you've been autoXing for a while, then you know that autocrossing is where small cars with low HP rule most often. I won a regional championship in 1995 in an Fprepared Datsun 260Z and Woohoo, it got me a trophy and a handshake at the club banquet at the end of the year. If you're running a 2:15 on VIR full, a 1:25 on Summit main or a 1:35 on Shenandoah, then you're on your marks and giving the horrible Porsche TTs a little work. My guess is you're not. The reason I say that is that atleast on Summit main and VIR full you're gear limited. I'm sure you're happy with your performance, and you should be. You're the underdog beating guys in more expensive cars... I was there, and I rubbed peoples noses in it when I was young and full of **** and vinigar too...
That said, you come on here, make generalized statements about Porsche owners, and expect to be treated well?? Get your head out of your **** and try to use a little more tact...
And if you want TWO FREE motors, contact me offline. They're sitting in my dad's shop collecting dust.
