Last time I checked many Europeans( in Europe) drive Pcars 365 days a year. Last time I checked they have the same winter just a different weather man... LOL

BTW, I live in Chicago and I drove the car thru a few winters myself...
Ur probably limited to one parking space so I real bad days take a cab... no biggy...
buying a beater, paying for another spot, all the licenses and stickers with Chicago premium insurance will cost you a lot more then a set of 4 winter tires and regular car washes during winter.
get the car and enjoy it.

you guys are right regarding the other drivers and idiots out when it snows. fortunately i work from home 80% of the time and rarely 'have' to drive in an actual snow storm or anything like that...any car in a snow storm can be sketchy and considering the expense of body repair on the 911, probably best avoided.
The point is - dont let some potential snow and cold weather prevent you from buying the greatest car on the planet. If you drive in the winter - or cold weather in general - get snow tires...as long as you are careful, the TT will be just fine in the snow. not as solid as say the quattro awd as the porsche is substantially more rear biased that that, but still its fine in the snow...just the other guys you have to worry about.
