Below is the 60mm "quiet" version of our well known SpeedTech 70mm Hi-Flow Exhaust. The 60mm tubing results in a quieter exhaust and the cost is reduced due to the fact that you re-use your OEM tips. This is a good choice for a daily driver that desires the quick spool and performance of an aftermarket exhaust, but does not want a lot of sound to go along with it. However, at WOT in the higher RPM's, this 60mm version does provide a fantastic flat six scream. A great combination of price, performance and sound qualities...these exhausts are mirror polished stainless steel and offer extremely high quality welds and very solid construction.

FYI - I have driven both the 60mm and 70mm SpeedTech Exhausts back to back and by my "seat of the pants" impression, I could not tell any difference...

John --How does the sound/loudness of the 60mm system compare to the 70mm system with the "quiet inserts"? Do the quiet inserts on the 70mm system make it a similar exhaust in terms of sound and performance compared to the 60mm system? Any experience with comparison of "drone" of the 60mm vs 70mm in a Tiptronic?

The 70mm system has a deeper tone due to the larger diameter piping. The rings make it quieter, but it still retains a core deeper sound - at a slightly reduced loudness level and a little higher pitched. The 60mm is one more step up the ladder to a raspy, mid level tone. It is much less intrusive in the cabin, yet sounds awesome at WOT. I do not have experience of the two systems side by side on a tip, only a 6 speed. I think on a tip car, the 60mm would be a great choice.
