ETA was early Sept and I just called. He said the wheels (T96) take the longest because they don't use cores, they're created. Current eBay auction actually says Sept 18 and he knew my order right off the top of his head and said it is on schedule for about 3rd week of Sept. I'm fine, not worried. Has a good eBay account so should be solid.

 

Makes sense. I’d think using eBay and PayPal should add some layers of protection. Love the look of the wheel style so definitely in the list - just a matter of what style.

 

I called too picked up once, then never picked up any of my other calls. Told me it will take 5 weeks when originally ordered. Then when I called 5 weeks later said it would take and additional 30 days. Called 30 days later and messaged and no response. I honestly just wanted an update but nothing.

 

Hopefully he comes through. I get manufacturer delays, etc etc...we'll see. His eBay feedback is pretty good and his reputation on here was pretty good. He did tell me to call back in 2 weeks if I haven't heard from him. Fingers crossed.

 

If you don’t mind keep us posted. Would love one of these wheels but would love to see you get yours first without issue from here on out.

10/3/2022 Update: Spoke with them yesterday. Still no ETA and told me to call back on Wednesday. If I can't get a definite on Wednesday, I'll ask for a refund.

 

Was hoping for better. I called them a few weeks back.. apparently awaiting an updated mold since their inventory was depleted during COVID. He even suggested not to try to purchase right now and took down my number to call me back once they have their stock (~6 weeks). Will also let you know if I hear anything further.

 

Yeah, he was saying something about waiting on the mold for the wheel. I don't get how they don't have a source mold that they use for everything.

Guys, after having waited since July and today, not getting any replies, I am asking for a refund. Looks like I may try the Vividracing steering wheel route. I'll keep everyone posted. It's a shame that Ivan doesn't check this thread anymore.

 

That and he turned off private messaging on here. I’m out about $1,000 just because I decided to wait and give him the benefit of the doubt. I’m going to be posting on other sites and warn more people, this is essentially a scam at this point.
