FVD has 2 kits, a gt-3 kit and a 3.8 or 3.9 kit i believe. been a while since i have seen their site.

with all the mods you have done, you might just want to start over with a turbo or something.

no way the engine casing is gonna handle the SC at 3.8.

Why don't you keep your 3.4 and have turbos put in? You could get 490hp easy from that engine.

There is already a supercharger available for the 3.4L engine from Evo Motorsports (board sponsor) and it will deliver a substantial increase in power. The 3.8 conversion that FVD offers is for the GT3 engine as well as the earlier engines with the 964 case. I have yet to hear of any aftermarket upgrades to increase the displacement of the standard Carrera engine, yet alone a supercharger to increase power on top of that. With enough time and money I am sure it can be done to your 3.4L Carrera, but in the long run you would be better served by trading for a TT.

Sloth, why do you say that in the long run it will be better to trade for a TT?

the tt engine casing is different than a NA engine. plus the power is almost unlimited. the longevity of the engine is what sloth is probably refering to as well as the chasis torsional stiffiness.

Porsche used the older style 964 case as the basis for the TT, GT2, and GT3. They did this because they recognized that the standard Carrera engine is not as robust. If a significant power increase is wanted you are best upgrading to a TT rather than to try and develope a new forced induction engine... afterall, developement is expensive and why reinvent the wheel. Those that have done the SC conversion to their stock Carreras do seem happy, but I wonder about long term reliability (especialy with track use). Keep in mind this is my opinion, everybody please feel free to do your engine conversions as you please.
