Mileage

I was wondering (and need to get my post count up) what kind of mileage everyone gets with there C2? Mine is a 2001 C2 and I get 27 highway and around 23 city.
Anyone find a way to up this? Or, should we not care since we own Ubercars?
Thanks,
Paul

Sometimes I find myself trying to get even better mileage on the interstate just for fun. It's amazing to me that a 300hp+ car can get this. My 350hp Mustang gets about 8 mpg no matter how I drive it.

I get about 19.2 average but too many long highway trips and I push it hard sometimes.

When I use the Tip, it changes things a lot but I still never go below 20 which is amazing to me.

I average 18, with a mix of city and highway, over the last 9k miles, excluding track days.

So my car's missing the computer control lever... is there any other way for me to access those options or is my car not capable?

What year is your car? Are you sure you don't have the computer?

It's a '99. I don't have the lever that the manual mentions underneath the turn signals. Haven't been able to figure out how to access the MPG and other variables.

I am averaging 15-17mpg. once I got into the 19s... but only when I've tried babying the car. i can't imagine how you guys get in the 20s.

Euclid- not capable AFAIK... just calculate it each time you fill up.

I got my 27 mpg by filling up right before a highway trip and resetting my avg mpg to zero. So, it just measured highway mpg at an average speed of 75 mph. I get 23 almost all the time with both city and highway unless like I said I am using the manual mode of the Tip. Then it goes way down.

Has to be enabled, if the option was not from the factory.
