I have a 2001 C-2. I knew my brake pads were getting a little thin after the DE I went to 2 weeks ago. At my DE this weekend, the brake wear warning light came on. It's time for new brake pads.

What brand and type should I get. I plan on doing 6-7 more DE's this year. I'm going to get dedicated track tires and wheels. I do not want any pads that will squeak. I drive my car everyday.

What pads are a step up from factory, will brake harder, but will not squeak. Are the pads easy enough to change, that I could change out the pads before a DE with a great braking pad, then back to a regular none squeaking pad after that. Thanks.

Daily driver, I would stick with the stock Textars. Alternatively, switch out Pagid Oranges for the track when you change the wheels.
