Walked in the door not too long ago from my first DE at Sebring put on by the Gold Coast Region of PCA. Man, now I know what you guys were talking about, about being smooth!! My first run, was a hack, no doubt about that, but as the weekend went on, I noticed myself seeing the line more and more and hitting the apex's more and more. Last session of the day I had my GF time me and my times were as follows.. 3:30, 3:20, 3:14, 3:11, 3:13, and saving the best for last, 3:10. I know they aren't the fastest times, but hey, it's a start

I also met a bunch of other 6speeders there that I didn't expect. Orlando Deke, suckmyexhaust, Bob from Foreign Affairs, Carbonissimo, and of course the guy that told me about the whole thing, Sloth, you still owe me a ride in your yellow beast! Hope to see you guys at the next one!!

Absolutely beautiful pictures. Do you think I can get some of them in high res for my background of my computer.

 

Eric, unfortunately not. I forgot to bring my camera and extra discs for the camcorder, so I had to buy pics from the track photographer. I'm sure Max got some great pictures as usual though. I was pissed that I only got to record the 3rd session run from day 1, since I was hitting it smoother on day 2.

Dave, let me know which one you're going to next so we can coordinate.

Rob, I'm sure you'll be out at the next one, and the next one, and the next one.... It's addicting

It was a great time indeed and it was good to see some of the guys out there. Carbonissimo... I saw you drive by a few times, sorry I missed you.

They did have a trackside photographer there that took some great shots. There was also a photoshoot with the GT3's on the track... there were 7 GT3's including one cup car. I look foreward to getting to see those pix... hopefully they make it into Panarama. I should have a few of my own pix up later... though I did not take to many. The GT3 was right at home on the track and was an absolute thrill to drive.

Hey Dave, don't forget that badge for me I'm gonna need to find one for my trip in a few weeks. I also saw that there's another DE in Sebring in august. Gotta check my schedule, but I think I'm in for that one also.

Sebring can be pretty miserable in August... just to hot, humid, and it rains to much. I was already suffering from heat stress this past weekend... surely the double layer fire suit did not help. I will probably hold off till the fall before I try to get out again. Let me know if you go... I may still come up for a visit.
