Volks TE37 questions

I believe my fronts are 8.5, sorry, but it looks good. I don't think I would have went with 9" if I could do it again. And no, wheel weights have not been a problem. I know a few guys on rennlist have had issues, but I also ran into a guy with the same wheels on a GT3 the last time I went to Willow Springs, and he had his wheel weights taped with aluminum high temp tape. Seemed to be doing really well, esp on a 114 degree day.
Absolutely love the wheels, the car feels quicker with both turn-in and acceleration.

Kelvin, the wheels look pretty hot on your car (silver or gun metal?). Do you have the 8.5" ET49 F and 11" ET 60 Rear? Also, what size tires are you running front/rear? I'm really looking into these wheels and would like have them come out flush with the fenders of the car. Also, the reason I asked about the 9" front is that I want the option to go 265 in front. I wanted to see if anyone has done this.

Ahh, Jarod...you know I want to. Maybe one day...
More about the Volk wheels. They are gunmetal. As far as being flush with the body/wheelwell, in all honesty they are about the same as the stock wheels (I had turbo twists before), which certainly doesn't have the same offset/flushlook as the GT3s and GT3RSs. Even looking at stock turbos, their wheels could be pushed out some more. I figured that because my stock lugs are looking not so new anymore, I was going to buy the Porsche 5mm spacer kit, that included self-centering spacers as well as a new set of lugs and locks as well. 5mm doesn't do a whole lot in terms of making it look "different", but as I'm not unhappy with where the wheels sit, I'm not looking for a drastic change.
As far as the tire width goes, from my research I wouldn't recommend going wider than 235 or 245 up front. There just isn't any reason why you'd need to go wider, and it would affect turn in. If we had FWD or 4WD cars I can see why you'd need the traction, but for the track or the street, I think anything under 245 should do fine. The rear is a different story.
Anyway, here are some more pics. Jarod, hopefully these will keep you off my back for a bit. Just use your imagination.
All the TE37s here are gunmetal. Shots of the GT3 were taken at Willow Springs. Car looked/sounded so good.

Hi Adam,
Is your car lower than stock or factory GT3 ride height? I'm looking at these wheels for my C2 that is lower by about 1.25 inches than stock. I don't want any rubbing.
Thanks,
Bill P.

Hey Bill,
My car is stock ride height. I only have -2.0 deg in the front and -1.7 in the rear. I use my car more for daily driving than on the track. I do not have any rubbing. I might be able to go .5 inch lower and still be ok, but not much more.

Adam,
Do you have any pictures? I'd love to see how they look on your car. Also, what are your camber settings? I have -2.5 F and - 2.0 R. Having the wheels fit flush on my 996 would be really nice. Did you consider the 9" ET 46 fronts? Ever consider moving up from 245?
Kelvin,
The pictures are really nice. What is your car's configuration?
