How is the in cabin resonance with your exhaust system? Specifically at 2800-3500 RPMs?

Do you have a link to any sound clips?

Thanks in advance for your time.

I have FVD headers and pipes on my supercharged C2.
They sound really nice. A nice growl to them at low RPM and howl at WOT.
Not so much rasp, more growl.

The cabin noise is very low for me, well, compared to my Ferrari anything seems quiet and civilized. It is possible to speak to passengers, again, unlike my Ferrari.

:-)

I can't remember what they sound like without the S/C but I remember Sharky (back in the days before Sharkwerks) started up a bunch of 996's he'd got in the shop and the pipes I picked out (without knowing who made them) were the FVD's.

If you blip the throttle just right you can get them to spit. Sounds great.

This sounds like a great deal from FVD, I'm amazed they can give the software away for free.

Jstgermaine,

There is no resonance inside the cabin with our 996 Export Mufflers. Unfortunately we don't have any sound clips for your car specifically but here are a few from the 997 so that you can have an idea..

c2mojo, We really have 3 sound levels. All three have the same pitch and overall deep growl but the decibels range from (on a scale of 1 stock - 10 extremely loud) 3 on our TUV version, 7 on our export version and 10 on our race version.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Thanks for the links Rhonda.

After listening I wonder if you get rid of some of the cabin resonance found in other manufactures by somehow incorporating a higher pitch?

Great sounds by the way!
