Finished up the minor details this morning, rechecked torque on bolts... Time for a ride! Closed eyes, crossed fingers and started her up.. No weird noises... Let her sit and warm up then a short ride. Had to take it easy off the line and when shifting until the clutch is broken in but WOW! after it is in gear and put the pedal to the floor the LWFW is most defintely a kick in the pants!
Since quite a few have posted regarding chatter and other noises with lightweight flywheels I was quite curious about this. After 5 miles or so of stop and go, highway driving I could not detect any new sounds whatsoever. This included sitting at a standstill; both with it in gear and clutch depressed as well as in neutral with clutch depressed and not. Maybe after the clutch is broken in is when the chatter I have heard so much about will start?
Nice too the feeling knowing that I did it all myself!

Awesome! I did the same thing! congrats and enjoy. You will hear the chatter i didnt at first either but it will come. It's not that bad though dosent bother me(maybe cause I have no mufflers lol) Pull up to the side of a building and roll the windows down you should hear it chatter then.

How many miles after install was it when you began to hear the chatter?
^^^ Normally would of but I work at the dealership and they charge me close to nothing to put it on : ) It's been on there now for about 8000 miles and honestly the chattering was probably always there but I didnt notice until after I read the chatter reports on 6-speed lol. When you have muffler by-pass pipes and RS motor mounts it dosent get much worse lol
If it does then it is still not even at a level that is noticeable. Some say it will start after time though all I have spoken to or emailed with also said theirs chattered from the onset. Maybe <fingers crossed> I'm just lucky..
