Your handbrake or parking brake on your rear center console.

To clarify - my Emergency Brake is all black stock. I want to replace with the Porsche Aluminum accented E brake to match the other Alum trim pieces that I have added to a all black interior.
Curious if any 996 Pcar owners have one of these that they removed for even fancier E Brake ie...Painted, CF etc...

I bought a CF e-brake from suncoast along with a CF shifter. Looks great. Suncoast was great to deal with. They also have the alum ones.

Might as well buy new rather than wait around for someone to sell one. I think the extra $50-$75 you spend for a new as opposed to a used one is worth it so you don't have to wait.

You won't find it for much less, the ebrake is a whole assembly not just the handle and is built mostly out of aluminum. I just did the oem CF brake and shifter and agree it does dress things up. Can't believe I didn't order the car with them...

I changed mine out and it does make a big difference. I havve heard that sun coast has the best price. I bought mine from eagle day at the time because I did not know about suncoast at the time.

haha

I meant on my C the parking brake is on the left under the dash (step on it to brake or not). Most Japanese cars has the parking brake in the middle of two front seats.
