The G35 is a decently fast car. Its not overwhelmingly fast though. It is still a heavy sedan with horrible suspension and bad steering feedback and sticky/non-responsive clutch.

Next time you see one, floor it and see them shrink in your rearview
My m3 stock whooped up on my friend supercharged auto g35 sedan, then a Vortech 6spd coupe... G35's do not pull hard up top and that's where they get ripped, gearing is horrible on highway and they fall flat at like 130 lol...

Thing is? I still LOVE my G35 sedan and Spider you coudln't be more wrong. I hate the 6speed gearbox and clutch, that we can agree on. My sort sedan with springs handles amazingly well, the car feels nimble and is not that heavy one bit, steering is weighted and so precise, I can go out and have a BLAST with this car around the twisties! I have logged on 47k miles over the past years, so i have a lot of experience with them

On track the 996 is quicker, on the street you would be stupid to find out

Here is a nice site that has posted a nice collection of performance numbers for cars (g35 incl.).

y'all must be driving uber 996s because any car that can do 0-60mph under 6 seconds is damn quick enough to give you a run for your money in hwy/street situations. you're goign to have to commit to breaking the speed limit by leaps and bounds to distance yourself enough to feel like youv'e "killed" anything.

a supercharged G35 coupe is about the same as a stock E46 M3 so you know how that plays out against a n/a carrera.

S/C G35 is about 350whp.....and they are QUICK but like Martin said, they arent anything to crazy - E46 will be right there with one. Now a Twin Turbo G35 is about 425-450whp...and these things MOVE OUT! Id be very careful to underestimate a TT G35 as its a completely different beast than a S/C one.
