I am working my way up the Porsche food chain. First was my Boxster S, then my C4S and I have a build date next year for a new 997TT. Same reason each time, as I test drove each one, I had to have one! No other car drives or handles like a Porsche. I wear a smile on my face every time I am behind the wheel. My husband thinks I love my Porsche more than him - silly boy! He just doesn't understand (he is a golfer, not a car guy).

Ive wanted one since I was a kid, there first time I saw that silhouette, I was hooked. The sexiest shape I have ever seen right next to a woman.

I don't care what status this car shows, I just like mine for what she gives me in return, pure driving bliss, I was 23 when I bought mine. And no, I don't use her to get women, the car is for me and me only.

Always wanted one since I was 12. Sister got a 924 and had a lot of problems, which scared me away from buying one for quite awhile. Bought a Corvette because it was an American Muscle Car, but always longed for the Porsche 911. Now that I am 44, I figured I better get one while I can still enjoy it. Looks great next the Corvette too.

When I was growing up every time I saw a 911 it grabbed my attention. The shape, the sound, history and racing heritage intrigued me. I knew from the first time I sat in the 911 that this was the car I would own some day.

Besides the reputation of the Porsche brand, it is the only true sports car available with four seats. I have kids and wanted something fun that the whole family would be able to ride in.

I have wanted one since I was 5 yrs old. Matchbox cars and slot cars took up most of my free time as a young kid. Have always had a Porsche poster somewhere on my wall.

Always wanted one since I was a kid (watched a lot of races when Porsche was king in all motorsports). About as practical daily driver sports car available (kids in the back seat).

My uncle used to drive a 911 (964) that he took me around in when I was younger and I was in awe everytime. Ever since then I've been dreaming of getting a 911 and after taking it for a whirl I was sold. Plus the Legend of the name that they have built over the time helps a bit.

Because I can't afford a Ferrari, it's very fun to drive, and always been my #1 dream car (other than the Lamborghini Countach on the Alpine poster).

Styling and performance. Certainly not residual value

Exited from a 2004 E46 M3 into a 2003 996 C4S.

Porsche is a precision driving instrument that can be used daily.

Once I drove a Porsche, I considered Everything else to be a poor example of a crappy rental car. I ususally turn cars every year and a half. my stable has had a few supercharged BMW well over 500 horsepower and very well tuned suspensions. I drove the BMW the other day for the first time two months. It felt sloppy and loose adn went back under the cover. I act like a kid every morning when I wialk out into the garage and see the Porsche. Nuf Said.
