Tonight I will dropping off my 2002 996 Tiptronic Porsche at the dealer for the last check out before the warranty lapses. I have already had the RMS taken care of but was wondering if there are any other typical items I should have them check ??

What are the most common or typical mechanical problems that occur on these cars ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RMS IMS and the coolant tank, thats all i can think of.
I have heard the water pump is also a commom problem...mine went in my C2 at 70,000 KMS

 

if your oddments lid is broken, mite want to get them to fix that too...
