jury rig.!? Factory connectors and pins - you can reuse the rubber seals. Basically the same setup without having to rip out and reroute the wiring hardness which by the way is not easy. But you got money to burn - that's the easier way

No need to rip out the harness or re route....its plug and play...connects to the 02+ headlights...Its not an entire electrical harness...just for the lights...not sure how much ripping and re-routing needs to be done....Do it how you want to, but I would much rather use the new style factory harness than to "adapt" the old harness to work with the new lights....

Not sure where Newport got his plug and play setup from...

Wiring hardness from SunCoast. Passenger side is not too bad (battery location), but driver is all the way to the switch location. the new 12pin connectors are also bigger (10pin original) so it might not fit thru the existing cut out either (I did not try it so can't confirm this). So I went with the cleanest route that I can do...

Do you homework and make the decision yourself. There are plenty of threads out there for facelift. Some claiming you need fender liners replacement as well, etc. Mine fit just fine...

I found connectors for headlights and got pins all from dealer, but how do I know where to connect pins on connector. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this mod.
thanks

When I did mine... the guys who did the upgrade knew what they needed. Actually, I think he know's raj in culver city and called him to get the part numbers. It wasn't really expensive to do that either.

Im sure this is very do-able w/o having to spend $$$. I can post a DIY on the whole facelift conversion after Ive solved this issue.
There must be someone on this forum that knows this mod.

The guy I bought my car from did the conversion, I was thinking about a GT3 wing but I don't know. I can tell you it's expensive!

They will fit - you might have to trim of some odd corners and remove the lower bumper to body cover (not sure what you would call it). But overall it is a good direct fit...
