Lift is going in the right bay, air compressor not overhead but is in there with a Retracta retracable airline, and I have 1 set of 18" wheels for the cayenne awaiting some offroad fun. ;-)

This is where the cars are living 'till the garage is done...

the "everyday" cars are living outside for now.

Scott - did you plan for plumbing in there? What about cable and hvac? I think you're going to be spending more time in there than in the house!

Eric,

Not doing a bathroom as the garage is moderately close to our well and I don't want to chance it. I am plumbing for an indoor hosebib, a utility sink, and a floor drain. It's being heated and cooled by a 24,000btu heat/cool unit -- just want enough to take the bite off in the winter and summer. As for cable, of course, I'll have satellite TV out there as well as speakers in the walls and ceilings.

It's actually a CLK500, my wife's. I rarely drive it, though I have. I considered the AMG but the price difference just didn't make sense. The 500 is 305hp which is plenty for my wife. ;-) It's a nice cushy car with decent power. I'm sure the AMG adds some power and stiffens up the suspension.

Also the AMG design doesn't stand out over the CLK320/500 design now much, and I've been asked often if that is an AMG (prob because its black/silver and has factory AMG wheels on it).
