check tirerack.. they did a comparison of the two. I also have the michelin PS and was thinking of switching to the F1 GS D3s. If you do try them out let us know how they handle.

I've always been interested in those Goodyear tires ever since I bought the boxster but have not kept a porsche long enough to buy new tires yet On paper, these tires seem to be #1 even though I'm not "enamored" by the tread design.

Interestingly, I was looking at tirerack and they did not have these tires listed as an option for 18" wheels for the 996.....bummer

let me know if you find them

i saw them listed on tirerack in both 18 and 19 inch size i think...i searched by size of tire though.. not by car type. I think they only list porsche approved N rated tires if you search by car type.

I've got the tires in 225x40x18 and 265x35x18. I love them. They're quiet, have great traction on dry and wet. The only problem is finding them in stock. I have a screw in one, Goodyear doesn't have plans for any in that size being in the country for over a month. They have a great tire, just not enough supply in the US.

Goodyear F1

Ken,

How many miles on Goodyear F1 GS-D3 ?
Some reviews claim they got noisy after 5k-10k miles.

cheers
