I'm sure they are functional as well by protecting the actual headlight from impacts by rocks and debris.

To blue for me, I like it the way it was designed.

Go with the 3M film for lights. It is thicker than the clear bra material and really protects our expensive lenses from damage. Easy to install as well.

I have the 3M body armor on my lights. Works well at protecting the headlights and no hazing.

I have seen a couple of cars with the yellow film on them, a bit of a racing connection I guess.

I am also torn like you, if I should or not.

Is there a place where you can obtain a dark film?

I bought a dark film from stickercity.com and modified it a little ( I bought the darkest they sell, applied it then cut out the light portion). I have had the film on my car for about 2 years now and have no complaints.

As far as the yellow look I replaced my white "city lights" with a yellow bulb. This allows me to run yellow lights when I want (dusk, when parked).

Another set of pictures, all of these where taken with the yellow lights on. When it becomes dusk or at night these lights are very yellow. They do not get enough power or are not large enough to make bright yellow light during the day.

Stickercity.com has the film precut for the Porsche lights and in many shades
