Anyone have this happen? I have an 03 C2. The throw distance is really short in 4th gear. When i put it into 4th it seems like it is barely in and has started popping out.

 

Synchros? Does your car have a short shifter? Could be the cable is not adjusted properly and its not fully engaging the gear? Whatever it is get it looked at...a tranny rebuild isnt cheap.

 

Thanks newport. The resolution for the time being is jiggling the shifter in neutral when going from 3rd to 4th and it appears to go right into gear. perhaps i was shifting too quickly and not precise? i dunno, but the delay does something good.
