Did you trim the back of the door enclosure and let the magnet stick out?

Nice job! I'm looking to do something similar and don't understand how you were able to mount the amps behind the spare tire. Did you just get attach them to the front bulkhead and move the tire forward? I'd really appreciate a pic of the amps with the spare tire out if you have time to share that...

Thanks!

looks like you did a lot of work. i'd have never thought those 6.5" speakers would go in the door. it was clever to hide the amps behind the spare. did you put two 10" pioneers in the back or one? regardless, that's a sweet set up. if you're ever in austin, i'd like to hear it.

cheers,
vick

if you ever come to Dallas let me know ill let you hear it!

i actually bought the 6.5 before looking at the enclosures, car toys told me that if they would put 6.5 in there if they were to do it and it would require *minimal* trimming. boy were they wrong!

but i managed to force them to fit, considered making a custom fiberglass enclosure for the door, but decided i didn't wanna go through he work and managed to get them to fit in the stock enclosure, to be exact they are 6.8" speakers

and yes i have 2 10" subs in the back

Wow....some heavy work done there. Are the door speakers covered by the stock grills? Got any pics with the interior door cover on?

Hey fellas. I'm selling my 996 Cab so I have my custom setup from car audio innovations for sale. Focal components for the front. Coxial in the back and 2 custom vinyl covered sub enclosures (8"s). Let me know if you're interested. Everything fits in the stock locations. I also have 2 JL audio ams and a carpeted amp rack that hides everything in the trunk.
