oooohhhhhh that 996 needs a set of PSS9's. And +1 about the deck lid, is it just not closed all the way or does it actually not quite fit?

www.factoryfive.com Look up the GTM.

My build site www.gtmbuild.com I have about 300 pics of my build on it, plus links to my build log that documents pretty much the entire build process from start to finish.

The motor started as an LS1. I changed out the intake, heads, custom Comp Cam and valve springs, titanium retainers, Katech rod bolts, ported oil pump, custom long tube SS header system and X pipe by "Kooks".

The car will accept LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7.

Thanks to most of you! Appreciate the welcome and comments on the cars.

The 996 had a complete 2002 + turbo body conversion including new factory rear quarters and front fenders, Litronic lights. Gemballa rockers and front and rear bumper covers. Proportionally, it should be 100% 996TT.

I certainly wouldnt have done the conversion for what it cost the original owner. However, it has given my wife and I the opportunity to own a unique car for a very reasonable price. We really love the looks of the car, its very impressive in person. The pics dont do the cars shape justice.

Welcome to the board...There is something odd in the rear proportions of the car...Its teh shape of the wheel wells...they are not right....It looks like the skirts were not lined up with the fenders...so instead if a flush line..the skirt moves back toward the tire...kinda looks out of wack....but a PSS9 drop and some nice wheels will fix up the look in general...Welcome and ejoy....GTM looks like a fun car to drive...no electronics driving aids? Wow....
