Staggered Wheels?

Did a search, but no luck. Is this a no no? Anyone one have 18" fronts and 19" rear?

You can do it, but you are better off doing same size front and rear. We have done Lambos with staggered fitment, but thats because 19/20 works better.

with a 996 it's a bad idea ... the overall diameter of the front and rear tires is the same ... having staggered wheel diameters will force you to run tires which have .5" less sidewall in the rear ... the difference in sidewall height will result in different sidewall deflection rates which in turn will have a detrimental effect on the cars handling ....
