I wish someone was making free floating rotors for the stock C2 system.

It's not cheap going to GT3 gear.

You are better off just changing pads, lines, and fluid.

I have many track friends that jumped to Brembo's 355mm kit and saw no fade improvement

I've got the Hawk HP+, or is it the "S", whichever is the more aggressive. Very good on the street .. no fade even in the mountains. Little squeel every now and then but not bad. Good cold stop performance too. A friend has one of the Pagid's on his GT3 and its a bit disconcerting when you're doing normal around-town driving. Pads are cold and don't have a good initial bite. But, when they get warmed up they are really nice.

yellow or black are generally categorized as racing pads. Both are noisy but if want them Yellow has better wear. Get the S-Line stuff, good power, fairly quiet, and relatively dust-free

Does anyone make brake ducting to cool or am i better off using those GT3 Diffusers from suncoast??
Actually, you got it backwards, Textar are very good pads, Porsche uses them to make their high performance brake pads... Mintex Red perform like stock Porsche pads... Its all about how you bed brake pads in how to maximize the pads performance.

Brake upgrades are all about how they handle heat at tracks and not about stopping power...high heat and stopping power however are closely related on how they perform.

i just put gt3 brakes on my narrow body, you do have to change the hubs. i was getting brake fade on the track with stock brakes and pagid blue pads, also warped a set of disks. the gt3 brakes with pagid yellow had no fade. noise on the strret was horrible so my mechanic installed shims on the front that stopped the noise. the shims would'nt fit on the rear brakes so i put street pads on. i'll put the yellow's on for track days.
