Nice. I'm notably jealous.
No advice here because I'm currently in the process of gathering the money to gather the parts...... did you go with the litronic headlights, or just a set of clears?

Getting rid of the amber makes a huge difference on the aesthitics. There are really no tricks to swapping out all the parts. Its straight forward and just follow the directions in the manual. Probably takes you 15 minutes to do all 3 the first time around. Good luck.

Just talked to a friend last weekend who switched to litronics on his '04 (I think) C4S. He did it himself and said it was tough b/c the lights are connected to the steering (I think). I'm not knowledgeable about these things. So, I can only tell you what he said. He told me that once he connected the lights, he didn't get any beams or fog lamps and had to work with it for hours. They still aren't 100% yet.

Also, another friend who has an '01 C2 said that it's a simple swap of lights for '99-'01 911s - no issues because it isn't linked to all the technology. I'm going to try it.

I'm sticking with the amber because they have a reflective lens - I'm kind of a safety nut. I also like keeping the car bone stock.

Good luck.

Bob

I just realized that switching to litronics isn't "bone stock". I stand corrected.

I wanted litronics but with baby on way I just settled on regular Clear headlamps. I did get a good buy on them. Curious if there are updated or better headlamp bulbs than stock, that I should consider.

thanks for the tips guys
