Advice for 996 C4S

Hi all,
I have just sold my Cayenne Turbo and looking to buy a 996 C4S as it suits my budget. This unit that i am abt to view is equipped with Gruppe M air box,Exhaust, and i think an DMS upgraded programme.
I was told by a fren that owns a 997 C2 that 996 C4S sucks big time in terms of power and its extremely heavy. However i love the shape and looks of a C4s esp the slats on both sides of the rear bumper.I really hope to get advcies from you guys.Sorry i might not be able to post replies but still i hope i will be able to get good advices here, tks in advance!! Cheers!!

a stock 996 C4S weighs 166 lbs (75kg) more than a stock 997 C2. the sport exhaust on the car you're looking at probably weighs less than the stock exhaust. the stock horsepower numbers, if you're C4S is 2003 or above, are only 5 apart; MY03> 320 versus 997 C2 325.

and the C4S is just super fine looking.

Try to get the Newst Porsche you can... If you can afford a 997 get a 997 over a 996...

996 C4S are one a of a kind... 997 C4S looks just as the regular line up... i have raced a CTTS and my Stock C4S was a little faster in a straight line... I belive the 997C@ would be a little faster... Try and get a 997 C2S for the best bang for you buck... 355HP with PASM, you cant go worng

Buy the newest you can afford , and what ever you buy make sure you get a PPI.I like the C4S, but I found that a C2 was way more fun to drive.I think its going to feel slow to you compared to your old Cayenne Turbo.

I agree but the 2002 C4S is also 320 hp as well

Stock 0-100 kph is 5.0 for the 997 C2 and 5.1 for the 996 C4S.

You friend also needs to remember that their are stock 996 C4S out their that have 345 hp from the factory .
If your lucky to find one with it the option code X51

You'll probably get an extra 10 hp out of having them and you'll get another 10 from the chip.
