Muffler Bypass Exhaust Tips

Anyone have these on? They eliminate the mufflers and run right out of the catalytic converters. How's the performance and sound?

performance gain...ZERO... you lose bottem end torque...you might gain a tiny bit up top ..but probably not.

LOUD...LOUD...LOUD.... loved mine... my local track didnt!!

ran them for 4mths...would still run them if i could, but the local police are not fans either!!

Make sure you get the right kind. The first set I bought vibrated a lot. (No Brand)I took those off and put a set Fabspeed and it sounds Great!!!!!!!

Had them on, now have them on the shelf. I lost 45lbs of torque with my supercharger, very little HP gain and yes, they sound baller. You will **** everyone off in your hood. I personally would have kept them on if it weren't for the large loss to the low end.

Seriously no gain, too much noise. I couldn't handle the drone. Took off and now in my garage. If you want them I let you have it for $125. By the way, it has OEM big oval tips.

yeah, I really like mine, but my significant other is not so much a fan..... So I guess the old zerotek's are going back on as soon as I find a good deal on some dual exhaust tips..... so sad. I REALLY like the sound, but the bottom end loss is noticeable.

I just recently started driving my 996 daily and found it to be too much for everyday. I switched to PSE and It sounds aggressive when you're on it, and definitely notice what everyone is saying about the low end difference. I'm so glad I took it off. JOHNNYTABOO i'm in the DC metro area also and I swear I see your car parked on Old Keene Mill at that mini shopping center, at the carpet place?

Way too loud! Ive had mine for over 2 years now. I guess im kind of used to it. Does anyone else hear that ringing? anyone? lol

Going to switch to a sport muffler(fabspeed) only becasue of the low end torque loss. It rocks on the highway though!

HAHAHAHAH!
DWN4WVR, that's where I work... Stop by some time if you pass by and my cars there. I'm the company slave, so they send me wherever they want, whenever they want. Would be nice to meet another 6speeder in person though.

...oh, and I took of my bypass pipes..... At first I couldn't tell if the car was even ON when I started it.... I miss that sound sooooooooooooooo much.
