You should take a look at the Persol line of sunglasses.

They have a wide variety of polarized sunglasses that combine high quality optics with Italian design. I have 3 pairs and love them all. You should check some out.

well I don't know what to suggest... I literally have 15 different pairs of shades ranging from Oakley to Bulgari, DG, etc.... I wear what feels right for the day. Actually what happens is I "lose" them, and end up buying another pair, and then eventually find them again.

Benjamine is right- the designer shades never have decent lenses, but they get big style points.
My fave pair is the RayBan roundish oversize aviators which have polarized lenses, light weight and are only $80.

At the track it's more utilitarian, you need something that is polarized and fits a helmet.
