Buying but concerned

I'm looking to buy a 1999 911 c2.The car looks great and seems like more than a fair price but I was looking over the Carfax and I'm not sure what to make of it. Below is the link to the car with the Carfax report. I'm sure many of you here have a much better grip on this report then I do. If anyone good shed some light on it and let me know if anything jumps out at you I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the help.

Having just gone through this.......
1. Carfax looks clean. Two owners from NE area.
2. Even though car has lived in NE you can tell by miles and the body condition that it was a sunshine only driver.
3. Not sure what ad meant by other mods. From pics it really hasn't been to modded out.
4. PPI is a must. At that milage it is still in the range for possible RMS issue. Though with the age added to it I would think it would have shown by now. But check to see if major service was completed.
5. Price is inline with what I found for that milage, age and shape of car.
6. If you are just starting to look, and installed mods are important to you then pay close attention to the cars. For my I wanted the litronics, three spoke wheel. I was able to find that plus clear tail lights, side markers, 19" wheels, Alpine headunit and GHL pipes. Those would have added up to a lot more if I installed after.

Not bad, I don't see anything glaringly wrong other than the yellow headlights.. lol.

IMO there might be better deals to be found. I picked up my '02 C2 with 23k miles on it for $38k shipped, car was one-owner off lease and excellent shape. Granted it was a great find, but I did shop around for a couple of months and saw several other deals including a low mileage 02 cab for $41k.

Are you looking out of state or only local?

It looks like a great clean car, but like the others said, do not rush into buying. I would search some more (or a lot more) to compare.

If budget permits go 02 or later models. Should you decide to buy this one have a PPI done (a must).

Can anything be done about those taillights besides replacing them with tailights that are more up to date?. I'm trying to keep this purchase some what local.

Well I bought this car. I pick it up this Saturday. I brought the car to Rennwerke Porsche for the PPI. Came back with a bad spark plug tube, needs a new mass air flow sensor and one bent wheel. All and all I was recommended to buy it and I took there advice. Can't wait for Saturday!!.

I negotiated The cost of the repairs plus some off the price of the car. I have a very good Porsche place by me. I prefer to have them work on it then the dealer I'm buying the car from.
