Curious if anyone's had experience purchasing via internet.
Seems inpossible for me to find any cars where I am so extended search. Some cars look promising but seems pretty risky too.
Also if anyone's heard of expomotorcars.com in houston would love to know they have an 02 c4s in the range (67,500) people suggested to me on earlier thread (thanks for making me look harder).
BTW this stuff seems like it could be a great scam. Take pics of porsche post it on ebay get idiot like me to send 65k then disappear. Maybe a movie...
thnx.
And thnx again for the good advice.

Screen 456,
I sold a 99 C2 for several years ago 63K on Ebay. I put the buyer at ease by putting him in touch with my local Porsche dealer who had performed all the maintenance on the car. I then had my salesman at Porsche speak with the buyer concerning the condition of the car. After we agreed on the price I drove the car to my local Porsche dealership. My salesman then called the buyer and informed the buyer that the car was in their possesion and ready for delivery. He then wired funds and arranged for car transport from Scottsdale Porsche to his house. Entire sales transaction took two days.
If the seller is not willing to put you in to touch with his Porsche service department as well as have third party (as I did with my local Porsche dealership) I would be be very concerned. Carfax the car also.
