Car Cover?
I have a coverking for my ferrari. I'm not that happy with it really. It has scratched (tiny scuffs) the paint up on the rear deck. They should line these things with soft material. I use it as rarely as I can here in California.
it would seem really tough to not get surface scratches. if there is dust on your paint or the inside of the car cover, no matter how soft the liner is you'll eventually get scratches.
i have used my cover for years for all of my cars. no scratch if car is kept clean. if it's got dust on it, just use a duster. if it's dirty, never cover it.
a fitted custom cover works great. covercraft and other companies sell light weight covers that fit well. i never use the lock. no one steals a cover. only use the grommet to tie the cover so wind doesn't blow it around too much. on covers with mirror pockets, they don't fly off unless you live in a very windy area.
