When I loss my wheel lock, they had to drill it out. Wouldn't do that again.

Guys what are the odds? Seriously. I finally had my dealer agreed to send me to one of their mechanics to bust the locks out. I was looking all over the place for some replacement locks, etc, etc. Went the to shop today, they explained how it might scratch the inside wall of the hole while trying to break the locks...not like I have a choice. Then this guy from the back found something.....it was a key that looks like it might fit...and bam!!! It goes right on!!! What the hell? You call this a wheel lock?? Hahaha Anyways, I now have a key to all four locks and no longer have to buy a new sets...so as I thought. What do you guys think? I know if someone really want to jack your wheels, no matter what locks you have...they will still get them out. Only good a lock does is to slow them down. So having said that, should I get a new sets of lock? Or should I keep the one I have? Any inputs?

My friend has a C2, he took me on for a ride on my C4. He did something I thought I was gonna die. Did you ever have a feeling like "ok, this is where the car is starting to give way...and then it goes losing control, and then you are like...shiet I knew it...and bang, you have to live with your mistakes". Well I did, and I learned from it...but this time, I wasn't driving....my friend was. I swear I was like sh!!!!t, thats it!! My god, it happened so quick, I wasn't even done wetting my pants...car came to a stop. So what happened was, he took a hard "S" turn exit from the freeway....an exit he takes everyday going home (on his C2). I have no clue how fast he was going, but sitting in the passenger seat, I thought the car was gonna just slide and hit some trees and flip over and I was about to get killed....but man how impressed was I. The AWD gripped like the car was on a rail. When he came to a stop, he said "man, I could never do that on my C2....coz I would have just lose it up there." I was like DAMN DUDE....you scared this **** out of me....

So that was my report. One word, "Impressive".

You get an "A" for that report. Carry on but now you have to do the driving. Report asap, but get to know your car first before you scare yourself to death again

yeah you'll crap yourself when you learn how fast you can take corners. It's that good.
You have lots of fun driving time ahead of you, and if you are coming from sport driving front engine cars there is definitely a bit of learning curve. Take your time and learn the feel of the car, attend a driving course if you can. Maybe some members here can point you in the right direction locally.

Yup that's exactly what I was planning to do ...until I get some new rubbers to burn. I am looking for an open track date to attend. I definitely won't go crazy until I am fully 100% confident, I learned it the hard way...and I am not about to let my C4 go yet.

One thing I do notice, I can't go too fast while the top is down. Well I kinda knew it but I just verified it =P
The aerodynamic is just not there to support the high speed, it almost felt like its lifting up the rear end of the car....well u go guess what speed that was, I am not gonna comment on it. =P
