BTW: it came with these VIP VR05 with matt black finish they are 19"s, can someone price them out for me? I just wanted to know how much these cost brand new. They have wheel locks on, but found no wheel lock key anywhere in the car . Anyone know how to replace them?

Better hit a Discount Tire and get those locks pops off before it comes at a time when you really need a change. Take from me, I did $150 flatbed tow with the spare in my lap because my lug key went missing.

 

Can someone do my taxes? haha, I'd recommend google for the price of the wheels. Congrats on the new car.

 

the parts department at my local Porsche dealer got me a wheel lock key for $10-$20...it's been a while so I don't remember the exact cost.

 

Just went to the dealer today...bad luck. The lock lugs are aftermarket, so they can't get them out. Desperately, I tried calling everywhere and found Pepboys who can take them out for $40 each...sounds decent but why did I even call them? I am not ready to let someone scratch my wheels yet if you know what I mean....duh me!

Anyways, good news came last. The dealer where I bought the car from told me that I can go to their mechanic who does all their wheels and tires on Porsche and Bimmers, and he can get them out for me free of charge....wohoo... I am a happy man.

It's figuring out all the little things that will drive you crazy, like how to get to the burned out bulb buried in the smallest crease in the dash, or why do you have to tape over the holes in the bottom of the doors to prevent a howling sound, or...where the h... is that lug lock socket? hey, how come the mechanic can do it for you?
