This post was made with my personal user name. The SpeedTech username was assigned when I recently became a site sponsor. As you can see, I have been around here since day one and on the other Porsche boards before 6speed existed...I spend most of my time on the 996 turbo board, as that is the focus of my mods...before that it was the 993 and 993TT boards...so I know a little about these cars - more than the 9 posts the SpeedTech user name would suggest :-)

John thanks for all the info. I have been in the mkt for mufflers for a while for my Street 99C2. The prices are all over the place
....I do like the fact that you are a enthusiast/owner that demands quality and offer lifetime warranty. What type of Stainless Steel are these made with? What would the approx increase in HP be on a stock or modified 996? Curious why no header or Cats to match mufflers like the competition? I can not wait for a sound clip and thanks for offering the group pricing...

They are made with T304 stainless steel and are very solid/well constructed units. I do have a whole kit with headers, 200 cell cats and mufflers that is estimated to add approx. 15 HP, it is just not on the website yet and most of our requests have been for mufflers only. The mufflers alone are mostly for sound, but improve the throttle response a bit and most likely add a few HP. Since I have not dynoed these myself, I am cautious on the HP claims.
