Opinions - Trade my 996 C4s for 996TT?

First, I own an Midnight Blue 03 C4s with 57000 miles on it that I absolutely love. I have 2 years remaining on a very good aftermarket warranty and the car just had its 60k service with no issues (the clutch may need to be replaced in 5-7k).

I'm contemplating trading the C4s to get the TT and am really going back and forth on it. I'd love to have the extra power and ability to tune a TT...even though I feel like the C4s is about as much fun through the canyon twisties as a person should be allowed to have legally. I also love the fact that there are very few midnight blue cars like mine on the road and most of the TTs popping up in Cali are silver or black. I'd only want a black/manual if I cant find another midnight. I think I could prob find an 01-03 TT for about $10-15k more than my car. Any help making this excrutiating decision including what/where to look is appreciated!

My current C4s:

Is there a significant enough advantage of the 997 S or 4S that would justify spending $20k more for the 997 over the 996? Isnt there only an additional 30hp?

Interior and exterior styling cues from the 993 did it for me, along with all overall improvements in performance. I suggest you drive a 997S or 4S and a 996 Turbo, back to back if you can.

I was going to say go for the 996TT, but am interested in the opinions about why the 997 is a better choice....

IMO its an all around better car and the next step in the evolution of the 911. IMO it is also a better looking car with a much improved interior and great widebody rear end. The right choice really depends on what you are looking to achieve with the upgrade. If it is raw power and the ability to Mod then get the 996 Turbo. Either way you cant go wrong.

I would go with a 996Turbo since you seem to enjoy the power of the car. But then again you could go for a 997 which will obviously have a newer interior and exterior look.

Or just wait for the 998 - I'm not particularly fond of the retro 997 look.

If you want the ability to tune....I would go for the 996TT. Personally, I am a big fan of tuning over better interior.

Have any pictures been released of the 998?

I make no claim that this is legit, but have a look.

Front end is more 993 to my eye.
