People will probably bash these, I don't know if they would add much power, maybe only 2-4hp. Just by design they look to improve the air flow. I remember reading someone on here got a set and said they felt a small difference, felt their car ran better. I'm not sure, but for that price you can always try them out.

I don't see a point in just buying headers for an NA car. waste of cash. If you want to upgrade your exhaust for gains then you probably have to go for a complete end to end designed system. Even then I don't think you are going to gain much.

Why not just buy a K/N intake or IPD plenum? Either of those upgrades will give you some punch.

No name brand from China. Actually, most brand names now are made in China. For that price if it doesn't hurt to try. $100 for a test drive is cheap.

Headers, cats, mufflers are giving you minimal HP gains. No seat in the pants that's for sure. Sound is the main purpose for upgrade NA car.

on that note i'd just do more aggressive mufflers.
Do you think aftermarket headers with stock mufflers would make much sound diff?

Stock mufflers have baffles to keep the noise level down to meets DOT. I do have Fabspeed headers. In the past, I also have Fabspeed Maxflow mufflers. No better than stock! I was disappointed for the money I spent to get louder sound was a waste. Then, I removed the Fabspeed mufflers, installed my stock cans. Again, little to no improvement. Last, I decided to do the PSE hacked with my stock cans. Now, the sound is much louder with no drone. If I know this mod. is more bang for the bucks, I will never bought Fabspeed exhaust.

what's exactly better about them and what's wrong with your factory headers?

Those headers are garbage, they have been dyno tested and shown to lose hp.

these were bought by a 6speeder, dynoed... it showed a loss of power and sold it at half price... someone actually bought it from him after posting the lower power....

I don't see how you would lose power unless the insides are very rough. It has a better flow design, making it more efficient to move air. I wouldn't buy too far into the dyno, there are a lot of variables that can throw the measures off a little.

Most people start with the Intake then Plenum. Exhaust on these cars seem more for sound. I just picked up a set of muffler bypass pipes. I met up with "boochook" and he took me for a quick spin. To me it sounded incredible, I can't wait to throw them on. It's really a matter of preference. The bypass pipes do get pretty loud but they are cheap and drop 55-60lbs of the back end of the car.

Most people think negative and suspicious anything for sale in this world that is way below that they think is right. With me if it reasonable to try out and doesn't burn my wallet I'm all for it. A good example is the B&M SSK. There are sellers selling SSK as low as $60. But most will pay more just to feel safe with B&M. The last year I installed 4 SSK units for my friends bought from EBAY. No complaint, no issue, just pure satisfaction.

I say buy them and give us a report. You won't do any harm by throwing them on. If they don't meet your expectations, you can always sell them to someone else who wants to find out for themselves. Might give you a little more tone, I don't know...if I had a reason to, I'd probably try them out.

some things are good to buy cheap, some are not. try the headers out and let us know how it goes. To me it's too much effort for too little improvement.

Not all the time. Like I stated, I installed 4 units and no issue. Remember this most SSK brand name or no brand they're all made in China.
