Replacing a fuel line on a 996 C4 convertible

Hi,

I replaced my leaking radiator fluid tank on my 1999 C4 convertible, but I ruined one of my return fuel lines at the same time. I'm now waiting for the part to come from Germany. Has anybody replaced the part before? I just want to know if it's an very hard job. It looked like the line goes behind the motor and probably even under the car. Can I do this without taking out the whole engine?

Thanks

Kristian
