It's generally a good idea to lower your comp deductible to $100 or even $50. Call your insurane agent and get a quote. Certain insurance companies, like my employer, don't charge a lot to lower your deductible to $100 from the typical $500. The increase in premium should pay for itself next time there's a claim.

I have State Farm. Since Katrina, this policy no longer exists at State Farm.

I have USAA (arguably the best car insurance). glass is covered with a $100 deductible, they do not provide a 100% cover.

Let us know how it goes!

Pictures like these make me feel sorry for those that don't have access to a garage at night. I don't know if I could sleep knowing that my car was sitting out there beckoning punk kids to come vandalize it.

Doh! Sorry to see that. Looks like you will need a new supercharger and PSS10 to fix it.

thanks again guys, appreciate all the love around here. i had the car towed to the dealer since i really had no place to take it and couldnt drive it. I claimed it on my insurance and the appraiser should be out tomorrow to take a look at it. will need to go to a body shop as the damage was not only to the windshield but also on the hood and right fender. nothing a new fender and hood cant take care of.

its late but ill get pics of it tomorrow. take it ez fellas....
