911 king of the road
I've had 8 sport bikes over the past 15 years, last one was an R1. You're just inviting drama by bragging and making the open call to flames, not neccessary or needed here.
If you feel you can take a 911 at the track, go do it and post the vid. That would be hot.
Until then, stop making unsupported claims

face at the end. But its hard to convey emotion behind text. The only reason why I made that last smartass post was to rag on that guy who said all bikers are trash. Thats a pretty wide group of people. Thats like me saying all 911 owners are/where spoiled rich kids who only have what they do in life because their rich parents paid their way for everything.
I would never say that because its simply not true. But most people who are jealous of people who own such cars would say something like that as an excuse and because they want to justify a reason to themselves why they dont have one.
Cant we all just get along? Some bikes and cars are both very fast and it all comes down to the operator and his/her skills. And if I get lucky and can get some footage of me racing a fast car through the NH mountains this summer, then this will be the first place I will post it!
yeah oftentimes posts do not get read in the spirit they were intended. cool with me
I do miss my bikes though, sold my last two when I moved from Hawaii > California. Fortunately I have a good friend who owns a custom bike shop and occasionally drop by to help him test ride customer bikes- do the run up to the rock Store in Malibu canyon and PCH.
You should see my friends '99 HD Dyna. Started out life as a cruiser hog and is now a 465lb, 150hp, 148lb/tq killer sport machine. It handles about as good as most sport bikes with a completely re-worked geometry and suspension (ceriani inverted forks, aluminum single sided swingarm, PM billet sport rims w. sport tires, tons of carbon fiber parts, and even a single carbon fiber yoshimura can).
I've watched my friend spank R1's light-to-light, just plain
. I've been begging him to get some video of his bike in action, particularly at the dyno shootout events throughout the year at bike shows. Whenever he brings that thing up to the Rock Store both the HD and Sport Bike crowd are always freaking out over it.
