Clutch Pedal to the Floor!!!

Hello Everyone,
I have a 2000 996 and had a problem with the clutch.
At a traffic light, I depressed the clutch pedal, shifted into gear, and released the pedal. The problem was that the pedal did not come up. I got out and noticed fluid leaking below the driver's door. I had the car towed to the dealer. Service manager called me and told me that I either went over a rock or curb and damaged the undercarriage and tore the clutch line. He charged me $500 to replace the clutch line and bleed the clutch system, which he said is not under the factory warranty.
When I picked up the car, I noticed the pedal came up very slow. The mechanic looked at the system again and said that the master cylinder of the clutch needs to be replaced, which will be under the warranty. Now that I have the car back again, the pedal still feels weird and the RPMs drop very quickly when I engage the clutch. Can anyone give me any ideas as to why the pedal still feels abnormal and I am thinking that the clutch hose bursted due the the faulty clutch master cylinder, not a rock, as I know that I did not hit anything. I am thinking about disputing the $500 charge.
Thanks in Advance,
Mike
