Chad,

I have seen your posts many times on Rennlist (I have yet to post there tho) and have always enjoyed your mods. Seeing your car is one of my inspirations for my 996.

Chad.... you planning to put the gt trim by the rear wheels?.... I love em one day and hate them the next. I have them for over a year now, painted and ready to get mounted but cant seem to make up my mind with them.

You and I are one in the same. At the moment they sit in boxes in my garage awaiting paint. To be honest, I am on the fence. Not sure. One minute I like the simple "Cup car" look (without) and next I like the finished look of them on. Tough call... thing is, they also are a bit on the heavy side. My car only weighs 3025#, why add the extra baggage.

Man, that is one of the best looking 996s I've seen, I love the White with black wheels and the GT3 seats are sick.

Thank you for the compliments gents (tipping hat)...I appreciate it.

Took me a long time to find this one. As far as I know, she is the only factory non-sunroof 996 Carrera on the forums. I have yet to see another. So if you have one, please post. There may be a story that links the cars.

The story that I know: This car was ordered special (Exclusive Program) from Champion Motorsports (documented). It was one of three cars, ordered the same. At the time I believe these were ordered to be made into "Clubsport" models as they included an LSD and PSM. Ironically, some of the photos with Champion Wheels from 1999/2000 were taken with this car.

So if you have one of these too, please contact me. We have something special.

Love that look, so simple and clean, tastefull in every respect. Where did you get the seats from? What about access to the rearseats now? I'm tempted to do the centre console delete and seats now, damn you!

Seats are from Suncoast Motorsports. Same for the GT3 delete. Access is a bit restricted to the rear due to the lack of tilt. But, it is relatively usable.

Those tires looks like they just came from a hot track day. I have the same color. Love the black wheels.
